You will love passenger too after reading this!
We have always lived in a society where chasing your dreams is still a no-no. We are re told that running behind our dreams will get us nowhere. We are always taught to focus on studies and studies only. That's what the Passenger a.k.a. Michael David Rosenberg was taught too. But he did not give up on his dreams.

The Revolution
Passenger was born on 17 May 1984 in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, England to Quaker parents, mother Jane and father, Gerard Rosenberg. Just like every other youngster these days, he had developed an interest in music and especially guitar. He had started to write his own songs by the age 14. He used to work as a chef and practicing songs in his spare time. His parents were not happy with his wish of leaving the school, but he stood stiff with his dream and decided to pursue a career in music.
Early life struggle
He wasn't successful in the start. So he had to struggle in the initial days busking on the streets of England and Australia. He had to perform on every street possible to meet his daily needs. Like every other busking artist, he had to wait little too much for success to happen. He went from place to place performing different songs for almost 10 years
Early career
First Band:
Rosenberg had his first stage performance at the age of 16. He found the band "Passenger" with Andrew Phillips in 2003 in Brighton and Hove whom he met at a stage show. The 5-man band released their only album, "Wicked man's rest" in 2007. The bonds between the members were not that strong and as a result, the band broke up in 2009.
Solo career
After the band broke up, he decided to start a solo career and started busking in October 2009. This earned him some audience and following that, he was selling a 500-seat theater event in Australia.
First solo album
He decided to keep his stage name Passenger, and with that, he released hus first album named Wild Eyes, Blind Love in 2009. He used to play on the streets of United Kingdom.
Second Album
He recorded his second album, "Flight Of The Crow" in which he was joined in by many music talents.
Third Album
His next album was "All The Little Lights". This album was the breakthrough that he was waiting for. Recording the album in Sydney, he was joined by a core Australian band.
He did tours in the UK opening for Jools Holland and Ed Sheeran, who has been a good friend since age 15.
One of the songs of this album, "Let Her Go", was a grand success. The song gathered a hell lot of views in a short while, with the current views on YouTube tallying to 1.7 Billion views.
Next Albums
He released his two albums "Whispers" and "Whispers II" one after the other. The cover songs for the Whispers was "Hearts On Fire" which was a grand success too.
The connection
Passenger has always been associated with songs that connect us to life. The lyrics of his songs are what we want to hear. He uses words that most of the youngsters use. His songs "Let Her Go" is still a favourite of many people. The way he presents himself before the audience, his way of talking is very down to earth.
He doesn't only look simple, many of his listeners might not know the fact that he donates over 90% of his earnings to different charities. Exception to that, he donated 100% of the earnings through the album "Whispers II" to UNICEF UK, to help the needy children in Liberia.
Thank you :)
